MANNOL M-40 Lubricant is a multipurpose aerosol lubricant with penetrating, cleaning, anticorrosive, moisture-displacing, and anti-squeaking properties.

It is suitable for professional and home use. Its fast-penetrating blend of active solvents and oils is formulated to support cleaning, lubrication, and moisture displacement.

Performance and protection

• Formulated to clean and remove grease, dirt, bituminous stains, and glue residue from most surfaces, forming a protective layer.
• Covers the surface, intended to prevent moisture from reaching microroughness in metal.
• Formulated to reduce friction and support smooth running of joints and other moving parts, without leaving greasy or sticky traces.
• Moisture-repellent and moisture-displacing; forms a protective barrier against dampness and is intended to protect rubber seals, plastic linings, plugs, and other contact surfaces from freezing.
• Penetrating action intended to free jammed, rusted, or frozen joints and mechanisms, easing disassembly of rusted elements.
• Formulated to protect against corrosion and oxidation.
• Functions as a dielectric, intended to protect electrical equipment from short circuits and current leaks, and to help start engines affected by moisture.
• Silicone-free, so it does not leave a sticky or greasy layer that attracts dust and dirt.
• Formulated to remove plant resins, adhesives, stickers, and tape residue without damaging paint coatings.
• Compatible with all types of lubricants; MANNOL reports it is safe for metal, rubber, wood, plastic, and varnished surfaces.
• Usage guidance: clean and degrease the surface first (MANNOL recommends its Brake Cleaner for degreasing), spray at a distance of about 20 cm, and let it soak in. Remove excess with a clean cloth. Shelf life: 5 years.

Applications

Suitable for metal and plastic rubbing surfaces; fasteners and threaded connections (loosening rust and oxides for disassembly); rubber seals, plastic linings, and caps; preservation of metal surfaces; garden equipment, tools, and machinery; moving metal components and rubbing parts; door locks and hinges (reduces creaking, usable as a lock defroster); power tools and electrical equipment; and terminals, wires, and electrical contacts (helps prevent contact oxidation).

MANNOL also reports it can remove insect residue from vehicle exteriors and chewing gum from carpet. Example applications include gears, chains, and lightly loaded bearings.
