Product description
MANNOL Universal Multi-MoS2 Grease EP2 Ester is a universal multipurpose anti-scuffing lithium soap grease based on highly refined mineral base oil, with synthetic esters and anti-wear/anti-scuffing EP (Extreme Pressure) additives of molybdenum disulphide and lubricating graphite, formulated for high-temperature resistance, sealing ability, and anti-friction and anti-scuffing performance.
Performance and protection
- Synthetic esters are intended to increase anti-wear, anti-seize, and anti-friction properties.
- Performance properties are maintained from -30°C to +140°C, which is intended to extend bearing service life.
- Adhesion to metal surfaces is intended to form a lubricating film that extends the service life of lubricated units and supports boundary lubrication at high pressures and temperatures.
- The EP additives are intended to withstand extreme and high-impact loads; in the event of accidental overheating, the layered additives are intended to limit seizure and jamming.
- Anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion additives are intended to protect bearings and other parts against corrosion in moist and soiled environments.
- Thermal stability is intended to support resistance to temperature variation, and mechanical stability is intended to limit grease extrusion and consistency loss during operation, reducing grease loss and consumption.
- The formulation resists oxidation and is intended to limit deposit formation.
- Elasticity and adhesion properties are intended to be maintained over long periods of use.
- Consistency is intended to remain stable during long-term storage; shelf life is 5 years from the date of production.
Applications
For lubrication of transport, agricultural, and off-road equipment operating under increased or impact loads or vibration in dusty, wet, or dry environments: universal joints, fifth-wheel couplings with kingpins, CV joints, slide and roller bearings, chassis, and other heavily loaded friction units. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s operating manual before selecting.
Technical documentation
Specifications, approvals, and product details shown on this page are drawn from the manufacturer's technical documentation. Confirm the exact product, grade, and application against the current TDS, label, and equipment requirement before selection.
