MANNOL Extra Gear Oil 75W-90 GL-4/GL-5 LS is an energy-conserving, all-season synthetic gear oil for manual transmissions.

It is recommended for synchronized manual transmissions (including heavy-duty), differentials (including limited-slip with excessive friction), steering equipment, and other transmission parts subject to excessive pressure and impact load, where GL-4 and/or GL-5 performance is prescribed.

Performance and protection

• The synthetic base, formulated for a wide temperature range, combined with the additive package, is intended to support anti-friction performance, fuel economy, and smooth transmission shift.
• The composition is intended to support anti-wear and anti-scuffing performance and extend equipment life across operating modes and ambient temperatures. The oil film is intended to resist elevated pressure, helping prevent differential jamming and reduce piston wear.
• Low-temperature properties are intended to support easy starting, reliable lubrication, and precise transmission shift at ambient temperatures down to -40°C.
• Thermal-oxidative stability and resistance to thermal degradation are intended to extend the interval between oil changes and reduce maintenance costs — up to 800,000 km / 3 years under highway conditions, and up to 97,500 shift cycles in manual transmissions.
• Intended to protect against lacquering and synchronizer ring clogging.
• Intended to protect metal parts from corrosion.
• Compatible with sealing materials, intended to prevent swelling, hardening, and shrinking, reducing spare-parts costs.
