MANNOL TG-2 Hypoid SAE 75W-90 GL-4/GL-5 is an energy-conserving, fully synthetic all-season gear oil formulated to the specifications listed below.

It is suitable for all types of synchronized and non-synchronized manual transmissions — especially heavy-load applications — as well as transfer cases and main gears with hypoid gears.

It was developed based on the requirements of European and American truck manufacturers.

Performance and protection

• The synthetic base holds a specified viscosity across a wide temperature range; combined with a high-concentration additive package (up to 7%), it is intended to support antifriction and antiscuffing performance, fuel economy, and smooth transmission shifting.
• The formulation is intended to provide antiwear and anti-scuffing protection across operating modes and ambient temperatures, with an oil film built for resistance to elevated pressure — intended to extend equipment life, including in extreme operating conditions.
• Low-temperature properties are intended to support easy starting, reliable lubrication, and precise transmission shifting down to -45°C.
• Thermal-oxidative stability and resistance to high-temperature degradation are intended to support longer intervals between oil changes, lower maintenance costs, and stable properties during long storage.
• Intended to protect against sludge and abrasive sediment that can damage stuffing boxes.
• Formulated with corrosion inhibitors intended to protect metal parts from corrosion.
• Intended to be compatible with sealing materials, limiting swelling, hardening, and shrinking to reduce spare-parts costs and prevent leaks.
• Intended to reduce operating noise.

Applications

Recommended for heavy-load transmission mechanisms in highway vehicles (freight trucks, buses), off-road equipment (construction, mining, agricultural), and special vehicles from European, American, and Asian manufacturers where the required service level is MIL-PRF-2105E, SAE 75W-90 GL-4/GL-5.
