MANNOL Dexron VI

Product description

MANNOL Dexron VI is an all-season synthetic transmission fluid for automatic gearboxes, hydraulic converters, hydraulic power-steering systems, hydraulic clutches, and other hydraulic devices — including those operating in heavy-duty conditions in trucks and off-road vehicles.

The fluid supports smooth gearbox operation, wear control, transmission service life, and fuel economy. It was developed based on requirements set by GM and Ford.

Performance and protection

• The low-viscosity synthetic base, paired with a consistent high viscosity index and a multifunctional additive package, is intended to hold its properties across a wide temperature range — supporting lubrication at temperatures of -45°C and lower, and a stable oil film under extreme loads and high summer temperatures.
• The additive combination is intended to provide antifriction properties for gear couplings and friction properties for friction elements, supporting fuel economy, precise and smooth shifting in any driving condition, and extended service life for the gearbox and its transmission elements, including coordinated clutch operation and reduced scuffing.
• Thermal-oxidative and chemical stability, plus resistance to high-temperature degradation, is intended to reduce lacquering, sludge, soot, and carbon deposits — supporting longer intervals between oil changes and reduced maintenance costs.
• Intended to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metal parts, particularly radiators, from corrosion both in and out of operation.
• Intended to be compatible with friction coupling materials.
• Intended to resist aeration and foam formation.
• Intended to be compatible with sealing materials, including fluoroelastomer seals in heavy equipment, limiting swelling, hardening, and shrinking to reduce spare-parts costs and prevent leaks.
• Intended to reduce operating noise.

Applications

Recommended for automatic gearboxes in passenger cars requiring ATF type Dexron-VI, Dexron-III H/G/F, Dexron-III E, or FORD MERCON LV quality oil. Recommended for new 6-speed transmissions from GM, BMW, Land Rover, and Jaguar, as well as 8- and 10-speed Aisin transmissions. Color: red.
