Product description

MANNOL Energy Ultra JP SAE 5W-20 API SP (RC) is an energy-saving bi-synthetic engine oil (PAO + esters) for modern gasoline and diesel engines.

Designed to meet the requirements of American, Japanese, and Korean automakers.

Performance and protection

  • Supports fuel economy through reduced high-temperature (HTHS) viscosity and anti-friction properties.
  • The additive package and low-viscosity synthetic base are intended to support cold start in severe conditions, reducing engine starting wear.
  • Detergent and dispersant properties combined with thermal-oxidative stability are intended to counter deposits and keep engine parts clean through the oil-change interval, and to help remove previously formed deposits.
  • Ester oil components support anti-wear performance through oil-film strength, which combined with pumpability is intended to extend engine life even in start-stop driving.
  • Compatible with the latest exhaust-gas aftertreatment systems.
  • The low-viscosity base is intended to support engines with direct injection, turbocharging, and variable valve-timing mechanisms (VTEC, i-VTEC, VVT-i, VVTL-i, CVVT, VVL, MIVEC, AVCS/AVLS, CVTCS, and others).
  • Used in engines with extended (Long Life) and conventional oil-change intervals. For turbocharged direct-injection engines, the formulation is intended to reduce the effect of low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).

Applications

Designed for multi-valve gasoline engines in cars, light SUVs, vans, and light trucks where the API SP (RC) / ILSAC GF-6A performance level of this viscosity class is required. Recommended for Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Acura, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Kia, Isuzu, Suzuki, Toyota, Nissan, and Subaru vehicles. Not suitable for use in heavy trucks and similar vehicles.

Confirm the engine manual, emissions system, fuel type, drain interval, and any required OEM approval before selecting — do not select by duty cycle or ambient temperature alone.

Technical documentation

Specifications, approvals, and product details shown on this page are drawn from the manufacturer's technical documentation. Confirm the exact product, grade, and application against the current TDS, label, and equipment requirement before selection.
