Product description

MANNOL Hybrid SP 0W-16 API SP (RC) ILSAC GF-6B is an energy-saving, low-viscosity engine oil built on a bi-synthetic (PAO + esters) base for modern gasoline engines.

Formulated to the API SP and ILSAC GF-6 standards, it is recommended for hybrid vehicles and is also suitable for non-hybrid engines that require an oil of this viscosity with similar performance properties.

Performance and protection

• Ultra-low kinematic viscosity (at 100°C) and reduced high-temperature viscosity (HTHS at 150°C), combined with anti-friction properties, are intended to support fuel economy across operating modes.
• The additive package and low-viscosity bi-synthetic base are intended to support cold starting in severe conditions, reducing starting and idle wear.
• Detergent and dispersant properties combined with high thermal-oxidative stability are intended to limit deposit formation in the combustion chamber, piston rings, and valves, and to keep other engine components clean through the oil-change interval.
• Ester base components are intended to support anti-wear performance through oil-film strength at extreme operating temperatures; combined with pumpability, this is intended to support engine life in start-stop driving.
• In turbocharged, direct-injection engines, the formulation is intended to eliminate low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) of the fuel mixture.
• Neutral to sealing materials, intended to limit leaks; combined with reduced volatility, this is intended to support low oil consumption and an extended drain interval.
• Intended to extend engine life, suitable for both extended-drain (Long Life) and conventional service intervals.

Applications

Designed for gasoline engines in cars, light SUVs, vans, and light trucks requiring an API SP / ILSAC GF-6 performance level or lower. Recommended for Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and Suzuki vehicles. Not suitable for heavy trucks or similar vehicles.
