Product description
MANNOL ATF Multivehicle JWS 3309 is an all-season, high-viscosity synthetic transmission fluid for automatic gearboxes.
It was developed for modern automatic gearboxes — manual or sequential modes, electronic control, and other configurations — with or without a hydraulic converter lock-up. It is also compatible with older-generation automatic gearboxes, hydraulic power-steering systems, ship reversing gears, hydrostatic transmissions, and hydraulic/mechanical systems specifying fluids that meet Dexron (except Dexron VI) or Mercon standards.
The fluid supports smooth gearbox operation, wear control, transmission service life, and fuel economy. It was developed based on requirements set by AISIN WARNER.
Performance and protection
- The low-viscosity synthetic base, paired with a consistent high viscosity index and a multifunctional additive package, is intended to hold its properties across a wide temperature range — supporting lubrication at temperatures as low as -45°C and a stable oil film under extreme loads and high summer temperatures.
- The additive combination is intended to provide antifriction properties for gear couplings and the friction properties friction elements require, supporting fuel economy, continuous and smooth shifting, and extended service life of transmission elements, including coordinated clutch operation and reduced scuffing.
- Thermal-oxidative and chemical stability, plus resistance to high-temperature degradation, is intended to reduce lacquering, sludge, soot, and carbon deposits — supporting longer intervals between oil changes and reduced maintenance costs.
- Intended to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metal parts, particularly radiators, from corrosion both in and out of operation.
- Intended to resist aeration and foam formation.
- Intended to be compatible with sealing materials, including fluoroelastomer seals in heavy equipment, limiting swelling, hardening, and shrinking to reduce spare-parts costs and prevent leaks.
- Intended to reduce operating noise.
Applications
Recommended for automatic gearboxes from American manufacturers (GM, Ford, Chrysler, and others), Asian manufacturers (Hyundai/Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, SsangYong, Subaru, Toyota, and others), and European manufacturers (BMW, Citroën, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Peugeot, Renault, and others). Color: red.
Confirm the transmission manufacturer’s fluid specification before selecting — do not select by color alone.
