Product description

MANNOL TS-14 UHPD SAE 15W-40 API CK-4 is an all-weather semi-synthetic motor oil for heavy-duty and high-speed diesel engines, with and without turbocharger, operating in difficult conditions.

TS-14 has passed road and laboratory tests at Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and Volvo test centers, with written approvals from those manufacturers.

Performance and protection

• The additive package and synthetic base give a wide viscosity-temperature range, supporting anti-friction, antiwear, and anti-scuffing performance under severe operating conditions.
• Phenol and amine antioxidants combined with the synthetic base support thermal-oxidative stability; combined with detergent-dispersant properties and low ash content, this limits scaling and varnish formation and keeps engine parts clean through the drain interval.
• The synthetic formulation supports oil resistance to aging; reduced evaporation and a high flash point reduce oil loss, supporting use in engines with extended drain intervals as well as conventional motors.
• Low-temperature properties include a low pour point, pumpability, and crankability at low temperatures, with cold-start capability to -30°C and reduced startup wear.
• Compatible with DPF, TWC, EGR, and SCR exhaust-aftertreatment systems through Low SAPS technology.
• Corrosion protection for compatible metal surfaces.
• Reduced foam formation.
• Shear-stability support against soot-driven viscosity increase in service.

Applications

Suitable for engines running on natural gas (LNG) or LPG. Designed for heavy-duty diesel motors — long-distance trucks, buses, off-road construction, mining, and agricultural equipment — from European, American, and Asian manufacturers meeting Euro I–V requirements where a CK-4 or earlier performance level is required. Can also be used in gasoline engines requiring API SN or an earlier category.

Confirm the engine manual, emissions system, fuel type, drain interval, and any required OEM approval before selecting — do not select by duty cycle or ambient temperature alone.
