MANNOL TS-18 SAE 15W-40 API CK-4 is an all-weather synthetic motor oil for heavy-duty and high-speed diesel engines of the latest generation, with and without turbocharger, operating in severe conditions on low-sulfur fuel.

The formulation protects the engine across the stated operating conditions.

Performance and protection

• The additive package and synthetic base, with optimal viscosity across a wide temperature range, support anti-friction, anti-wear, and anti-scuffing performance in severe operating modes and support fuel economy.
• Phenol and amine antioxidants combined with the synthetic base support thermal-oxidative stability; combined with detergent-dispersant properties and low ash content, this is intended to reduce scaling and varnish formation and keep engine parts — especially cylinder-piston — clean through the oil-change interval.
• The formulation supports oil resistance to aging; reduced evaporation and a high flash point are intended to reduce oil loss, supporting use in engines with extended drain intervals up to 100,000 km as well as conventional motors.
• The synthetic base gives low-temperature properties, including a low pour point, pumpability, and crankability at low temperatures, with cold-start capability to -30°C and reduced startup wear.
• Compatible with all exhaust-aftertreatment systems — DPF, TWC, EGR, and SCR — through Low SAPS technology.
• Protects engine parts from corrosion.
• Reduced foaming and resistance to aeration.
• Controls shear-stress increases caused by soot-driven viscosity rise in service.

Applications

Suitable for engines running on natural gas (LNG) or LPG. Designed for heavy-duty diesel motors — long-distance trucks, buses — off-road machinery (construction, mining, agricultural), and special equipment from European, American, and Asian manufacturers meeting Euro I–VI requirements where a CK-4 or earlier performance level is required. When using CK-4 oils with fuels containing more than 15 ppm sulfur, follow the engine manufacturer’s recommendations for service intervals. Can also be used in gasoline engines requiring API SL or an earlier category.
